Aus-Aid Scholarship for 2008 Selection

I applyed for the 2008 Aus-aid Scholarship last year yesterday I reaceive a reply from the snail mail I was positive that I have been awarded a scholarship But when I open and read it the reply was like this:

ADS 2008\597

Dear Mr Yhuanje Shaiongu

Re: Australian Development Scholrships 2008 Selection Outcome

This letter is to inform you that the Joint ADS Selection Committee, comprising of representative from the Department of Personnel Management; the Department of National Planning and Monitoring; the National Training Council; AusAID and PATTAF, have reviewed all applications and determined that your application was not successful

The reason your application was not successful was due to it being coded and described as
"J-Chosen Topic of Study is offered by an Institution in PNG"

Please be advised that due to the large number of application and time constraints the JASC decision is final and that there is no avenue for appeal against this decision.

Thank you for your interest in the Australian Development Scholarship program for 2008.

Yours sincerely
.........................
Russell Jones
Scholrship Manager
PATTAF

Any way I email the pattaf and thank them for the reply of my application.
And told them that I'll be looking forward to apply again for the 2009 scholarship.
This time I will choose a different course.
The course I've choosen was Computer Science Engineering which teaches both Network Engineering and Software engineering.
The reason why I want to take this course is because I want to write a software for the my country Papua New Guinea to use for Voteing and Criminal Database.

The reason for Voting is because I will design the software so that people would use their FingerPrint to vote rather then writing on the paper so that people will only vote once and we would also have the right number of people who did not vote and the people who vote.

And for Criminal Database is because when a criminal is wanted by the (CID) Criminal Investigation Department and is been arrested by the Traffic for driveing without is Driver Licence the CID wont know that this person has been arrested for breaking traffic rules and is in custody the Criminal might change his/her.
If only we have a permenent database and using finger print to identify a person then and that only will make the Trafic know that the person is wanted by the (CID)

And also the country will know the exact popullation and who has passed away or who is in prison and so on...

Please if any has any comment to make comment in or send me an email: sdavid_png@yahoo.com
