Mobile Phone Serial Number
Hi everyone
Good day to you'll has we all know Papua New Guinea owned Telikom and Digicel are having a competition. Thugz and criminals too are having competition of stealing mobile phones to sell on the streets. But this can be stop by just doing this simple thing. Check your cellular phones's serial number report to the service provider and give them the code so they will lock the phone for you so thiefs won't sell phone anymore coz it would be useless.
To check your cellular phone's serial number, key in the following sequence on your cell phone:star hash zero six hash as (*#06#).
A 15-digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. Should your phone be stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this code. They in turn, will then be able to block your handset, so that even if the thief changes the SIM card, the phone will be totally useless.
You probably won't get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever stole or bought the stolen item, can't use it either.
If everybody does this, there would be no point in stealing mobile phones anymore. Send this to as manypeople with mobiles as possible. At least we can cause more frustration to anyone who wants to steal a mobile phone.
Tok save tasol. TOK SAVE LONG OL NARAPELA TOO!
